The story that sleeps beneath the earth

The collection is built upon a color palette that evokes the mineral and ceremonial landscape: stone gray, deep garnet, sky blue, canary yellow, ritual white, denim blue, vegetal khaki, earth black, and solar gold. Each shade engages in a dialogue with the land, with natural pigments, with the clay that was once form and is now memory.

Collection: BURÍA

The Story That Sleeps Beneath the Earth

Buría is a collection that emerges from ancestral clay and is shaped in the present as a gesture of memory. Inspired by the cultural lineage of western Venezuela, this collection honors the persistence of forms, the ritualistic nature of gesture, and the silent transmission of knowledge that survives in the body, in the land, and in the craft.

The collection is built upon a chromatic palette that evokes the mineral and ceremonial landscape: stone gray, deep garnet, sky blue, canary yellow, ritual white, denim blue, vegetal khaki, earth black, and solar gold. Each shade engages in dialogue with the territory, with natural pigments, with the clay that was once form and is now memory.

The pieces incorporate textile techniques that function as tactile archaeology: crochet, loom weaving, natural fibers, and curvilinear patterns that evoke the applications of Tocuyo-style ceramics. Volume is the protagonist. The silhouettes expand, fold, and intertwine like bodies that remember. Design doesn't decorate: it contains, protects, reveals.

Buria is also a space of legacy. The collection evokes the figure of the Queen of Buria as a symbol of female lineage, clay that asserts itself, and living memory. Each piece is a form that sings from the depths, a story that sleeps beneath the earth and awakens in every stroke, every texture, every design decision.
